What is the MediaCAT?
The Navaho MediaCAT is a flexible media presentation system that displays images, video and Web based content on almost any type of display device including plasma screens, LCD displays, televisions and projectors.
The player can be completely managed and controlled across a local network or the Internet, with multiple players being controlled centrally by a MediaCAT Supervisor Unit.
Simply plug your Navaho MediaCAT into its display device and connect it to your local network. Alternatively, attach multiple screens to the MediaCAT player with the use of a video “splitter” device. Then load the material onto your MediaCAT either locally (via usb) or remotely across the network for display on the screens. Control is easy with the on-board web-based management software.
The Navaho MediaCAT allows you to create automated timed play lists which once set up, allows it to virtually run itself.
Hardware
The MediaCAT is available in a consumer media device style chassis for use as a free standing unit with other hardware options for rack mounting, wall mounting or automotive use available.
Unlike a desktop PC, the MediaCAT uses solid state hardware, so it can be switched off whilst running without the operating system being corrupted.
